Spring compressor for shocks/struts
I was wondering what spring compressors other people are using for suspension springs? I just used the garbage claw one I picked up ages ago to replace a spring on a friends car, and it got me thinking it might be nice to treat myself to something newer and likely easier to use.

I use the ones that have a threaded rod going through the two hooks. I think the first time I swapped springs I used ratchet straps. It does not take much to relieve the pressure on the stock springs.

I took my struts apart and reinstalled them without a compressor. They really dont have alot of tension on them in these cars.
