This is coming off on my car, and was glued on but its not holding.
What glue did you use to hold it on? Or whats the name of the part or part number to order a new one?

the rubber piece is attached to the window glass. It only comes as part of the glass already. attached to it.

why not try clear silicone seal. It will bond, waterproof, withstands temp changes. Get name brand such as 3m, loctite, gorilla.

on the locktite web site you chose the material to be bonded and they recommend clear silicone seal for rubber to glass.

I used the Flex Glue and it seems to hold well for now. I did one window at a time so I could leave my clamps on it for 24 hours. If its doesnt hold, its not to hard to redo.

I would also look into why it's coming apart. The rubber shouldn't encounter anything that separates it from the glass and the pressure from the door window sealing against it should be slight. It seems either the door window or the quarter should be adjusted.

I solved a similar problem with hot glue from a nearby store. The glue holds perfectly for six months, while the result suits me as I do not see any cracks or something like that. I used the best glue gun model of 2020 because it was the only thing I had on hand at the time, and I needed to fix the problem quickly. Also, this glue gun did a great job when I was trying to fix one of the broken windshield wipers. I can vouch for its reliability as this glue has survived more than a dozen rains and damp air. I can't name the specific name of the glue since I bought the most standard glue gun glue from a hardware store.

A urethane adhesive for windshields would probably work best for that application.
