We had raced on July 19th and I finally got the video completed and uploaded. Been busy since my dad and sister came to visit, then we installed the supercharger on the Camaro.

With a decent 60' time and having your SC tune dialed in just right you'd have put a lot more distance on that Mustang. Best of luck to ya!

I'm impressed with the kit, my transmission wasn't laying in the middle of the track. I also have the stock transmission tune, that is not helping me. Will see how I do in colder weather, too hot now.

I was at the track same night as magnumforcegb in my 2002 Camaro z/28(2.73 auto) with cat delete and programmer. We trapped the same mph, you can really see where his trans tune is killing him... I have longgg gears and so my et should be slow relative to trap.
DA corrected I did 13.2 @ 107 mph, magnumforcegb would have same corrected trap speed too.... So the weather right now really masks the speed of his car. See on the first run I had a worse 60 foot then him, trapped the same mph, but ran faster et? It was very hot and humid... My friend's srt8 charger did 13.5 @ 105 mph at the track in same weather. But he did 13.0 @ 110.8 mph in 700 da or so when the temps were in the 50s and it was chilly.... Timeslip comparison break down... On the first slip above he did better 60 foot, but by the 330 foot marker I was .1 tenth of a second ahead already. Also note he traps less in the 1/8, really picking up speed fast on the back half of the track Last edited by 08-G35s/6MT; 08-06-2013 at 12:39 AM. |

Haven't dyno'd it yet, keep having to deal with parts breaking.

Got 3.73 gears installed in the Mustang today, tomorrow we are going to the track to see how they do. Will be interesting, Mustang V6 with 3.73's vs a Camaro V6 with a Centri Supercharger and crappy tune.

What was the outcome with the new gearing?

Couldn't race it. Took it for a quick drive and at 100 mph the buzzing in the cabin was extremely loud. We decided not to risk the driveshaft failure and just wait till next year when we have a one piece in there.
Car feels a lot lighter with the new gears though. |

hmm... thats different. sure its the driveshaft? I trap at 104mph on the stock driveshaft and 3.73 gears. I imagine I'm making less power than your wife as well and I dont recall a buzzing?

Over the winter time we will get a new driveshaft and be racing it by February or March. Sucks though because there was finally some Camaro V6's at the track Friday night that she could have raced. My car is a little too fast for racing other Camaro V6'ers. My wife did get to go down the track though, she rode in her friends 2013 Mustang Stage 3 Roush. She had a lot of fun doing that. |
