It happened to me again...

Third year in college and this is my third hit and run. It never fails, every year someone hits my car in the parking lot. I can't believe it's so hard for people to miss my car. The worst part about it is that this happened overnight while I was parked in a faculty parking lot on the weekend so there wasn't any other cars in the parking lot at all. It looks worse in person. When I walked out to my car that morning to go to work and saw the RS badge on the ground

My driver's side headlight got pushed in about an inch, need a new grille, new badge, and repaint the bumper cover, $1,089.51 in damages.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I feel your pain. I had my fair share of car stuff happen to me last year too. Parking on campus sucks.

Funny, you said RS badge, but it looks like a ZL1 badge is missing.

I have to say, driving a "beater" to campus was always nice. For most of my college years I drove an '84 Caprice Classic, steel everything. Who knows if anyone hit me because if they did, it probably did more damage to them than it ever did to me. Besides something like that is cheap to buy, insure, and maintain (relatively speaking, they were pretty reliable vehicles).

Don't even get me started. Now I have a townhouse and I can take the bus to school. No more on campus parking, except on game days... Be careful driving near campus, (on a 2 lane highway) I nearly got into a major accident last night because some idiot didn't see me (traffic was backed up on the opposite side) and pulled into my lane while I was going about 50 mph (speed limit was 45). I never slammed on my breaks so hard and I swerved to the side of the road, nearly driving into a ditch

I understand man.... on days I have 8am classes our parking is pretty open now because everyone has started skipping 8ams hahahaha so I park in the back in a corner spot or a spot that has the white striped no parking zone next to it... if i do that I'm always half way into that little section so its physically impossible to door ding my car.... but as far as people actually hitting other cars and driving off i haven't seen it too much at my campus thankfully... we also have a much larger amount of nicer cars this year though too... honestly not much you can do which sucks :/

Guy is driving a ZL1 to college, his luck ain't that bad.

Edit: if your RS badge was on the ground, why is there a ZL1 badge missing from the grill?

Because its a ZL1 grill. Probably liked the look but put RS badge to not be a poser

Find the person and beat them down lol. Seriously that sucks to have something like that happen to such a nice car. Like what others said try parking as far away as possible so something like this doesn't happen.
