Track Insurance
I knew it was going to be a bit more. However, it was nearly twice as much to cover the ZL1 as it was to cover the SS for HPDE events. I am curious if anyone has found a cheaper alternative to ontrackinsurance.com?

It is all about the declared value. Put a realistic declared value on your ZL1 and the price will come down.

+1 I have used RLI also - be realistic on value and deductible.

The Open Track does a 12 month policy, unlimited times on track. Might be a good fit if you spend a lot of time on track.

I've used Lockton and Hagerty. Hagerty just started doing HPDE insurance about a year ago. Coverages are the same and always less expensive than Lockton. With either company coverage is the same price whether the event is one, two or 3 days. So if you drive more days the insurance is less per hour…or per lap…or per session…..or per smiles I guess?
