well while im at it, Scrming, from this pic ^^^ im assuming that the elbow part of this pipe is the catalytic converter? which looks like is part of the whole thing so with that in mind it is not possible to buy an aftermarket converter?? cause my buddy sean had told me before i buy my CAI i should buy a magnaflow catalytic converter first, but after looking at this pic i dont think i can buy one, any suggestions?

Thanks, Louie & Sean

K&N V6 Install (sooo seeeeple)

Just installed the K&N CAI in my ride, Was so easy I was afraid I was missing a step, Sure enough it was simple enough even I could do it. When I throttled it, the air filter was like a street hooker trying to get things done fast! Pictures included. Oh! one more thing! I bought this off Ebay on the VERY CHEAP. This is the seller, if you copy and search it will come up: performancetuners

Happy modding!

V6 with V8 Cat Back Exhaust from Cherry Bomb

The deal is too hard to pass up. The sound is incredible if you like it REAL loud and the price is IMPOSSIBLE to beat. I recommend this set up for anyone thinking about an exhaust flop. Install from neighborhood shop took exactly 1 hr with it being their very first Camaro exhaust change. The shop I went to was incredible and took time to align the pipes right which I am not including in the 1 hr. Here are the pics I took:
Be sure if you do install an exhaust not factory that you have the tips stick out far enough. Another member had a serious issue with the gasses melting the ground effects. Be warned!

Last two pics I just took in the garage. Sorry-- a alittle carbon on the interior, easilly fixed but hard to keep clean since it's pretty much a straight through system!

I just installed a set of PYPES PERFORMANCE EXHAUST #SGF 52 Cat-bach with 4" tips.
For my synergy green v-6 They look nice and sound good, but has anyone else tried these???
I took them to a local muffler shop to put them on and 3 hrs later and many problems there on. DON'T TRY TO DO IT YOUR SELF cause they don't fit all that good.I 've called tech support and I hope they will work with me I even had to space the cross support fo now till I get one steped down.please lmk if anyone else is having this problem!!

GMPP Exhaust. Or have your dealer install the aftermarket exhaust. But it only voids the warranty on the part you install, and most come with manufacturer warranties.

I noticed when i place a heat shield around my injen between the radiator hose and the tube that my "surge" stopped. I assumed this was the timing bouncing around from the maf not getting true outside air temp. So I wrapped the tube and maf in insulation and it's works really well.

Will post pics if interested. And by the way in stop and go traffic I notice a lot more power with no a lot less timing retard (based on engine sound not logger).

Looks ugly as hell though.

Just a heads up regarding the BBK CAI for the V6 Camaro.
I am being told it should be ready in a few weeks from now.
This info is directly from BBK reps.

I know this sounds crazy but I was talking to my neighbor. He has been modding chevies for a long time. He said that he heard that all the new camaros were plug and play and you could drop a v8 motor into a v6....I know sounds fishy. Can anyone put this to bed for me please? Im not trying to be funny just want to know if it is possible or not.
