Since there are obviously a lot of movie fans in the Camaro5 family... I wanted to know what everyone's (and I mean everyone's) opinions were on the upcoming release, Clash of the Titans. I am personally hoping for the best, but bracing for the worst.

Call me crazy, but I am enormously nostalgic about the 1981 version. Seeing it was one of those childhood memories that i'll never forget. The place, the sounds, the smells, it was unforgettable. It's kinda like sitting in your 5th Gen for the first time... but I digress.

I absolutely understand the desire to remake films using todays capabilities, especially a move such as this. But when I heard this was in the works, I got more

. I also appreciate a good remake, or say a cover song... but they are no substitute for the Original!

there never is a sub for the original BUT this looks to be better due to the technology alone. plus it's got a great director who knows how to direct fight scenes in a movie. it should be great. has great actors too.

I remember watching the original back in high school for our English class and me and my buddy would always call it "Battle of the Gods!!!!" I remember I got kicked out of class and didnt get to watch the end because I said out loud (and those of you who have seen the original will know what I'm talking about) "heh, the Kraken's crackin..."

I freakin can't WAIT for the new one to come out!!!!

Some movies from the past are BEGGING to be remade. With today's technology, I think Clash of the Titans will be amazing! I love the old version, but watching the commercials, I can't wait to see the Kraken kill.

Having never seen the original, I am looking forward to some cool action seens and epic battles. If there happens to be a good plot thrown in as well, cool, if not I'm still happy

I am with you, I loved the original version even though it is pretty cheesy but today's standards it was still a great flick.

Hopefully they will get this remake right, the visuals look amazing on the previews.

The trailer looks great. Can't believe it's going to be out so soon. I have the original on dvd.

Loved the original! Looking forward to seeing the new one also. 3D is all the rage these days - with digitally equipped theaters

I hope they don't ruin the original. Yes, the special effects from the original are cheesy compared to movies of today but I still love that movie. As long as they stick close to the story line it should be a success.

I agree, it is a realm for them all to thrive, but... I'll remain skeptical until proven otherwise. Hope for the best...

I'm anxious to see how they do Medusa. I hope she is super hot...at least she should be or why would all the guys wanna bang her...well minus the snakes comin out of her head

If they stick to the original story, it should be epic
