Winter Storage Space

Finally got both my Camaros inside for storage .
I always had the 2010 inside but had to find a way to double up my storage space .
I had friends who payed for storage threw ads and friend of a friend kinda deals .
And had heard some horror stories .
One was as minnor as he came over to pick it up in the spring time and parts were missing .
Another was dings and scratchs that were never on the car before .
Another was the guy lost his house to the bank and he had to pay fees to
the bank to get his car back .

So aside from buying myself a half million dollar house with a four car garage .

I invested about 5k and got .....

Two storage carlifts and so far loving it .

To be honest , I barely was able to pull it off .
I had to buy three new garage doors (The third door is one that drives out to the backyard) .
And my new doors are maxed out as high as they can roll up.

My 2010 barely fits under the lift .
Case in point I hit my head getting out off car on the lift like three times already .
And if I wanna lift the cars any higher I can , but I can not open the doors because they would hit the cars on top .

Yeah, sad thing is my brother has moved into an appartment so I think
my 84 Trans am has to stay in the driveway so he can put his 71 Gtx in
doors .

And theres no way My Grandpa Tbird is going outside it is mint .
That and my family would kill me , the 57 Tbird you see in the one picture
on top of the hoist on the left .
It was my great Grandfather's car from brand new and give to my Grandpa , and then give to me and my brother when he passed in 07 .

So story of my life , I keep making more indoor parking only to need more within a year hehe .

Maybe it's time to move out to the country. Your options for "fleet" storage would be greater.

Carlift.ca worked out great .
Takes about 3 to 4 guys and a day to put one up .
Or you can always pay someone I was quoted like 700 for install .
Ended up just doing it with my brother and a buddy instead .
They normally have deals from other guys if you goto the Performance World show in the westend.
Its Normally on at end of Feb being of march .

I've always liked the idea of storing my OH-TEN SIM (TRADED IN)
now soon 2 Be 2011 CGM/IO/Vert close to home and drive my daily under.
I think, I have the height; from ceiling to the upper Camaro how much space is needed and from floor to bottom of Beater BEE is necessary?
I thank you for the Pics . . . REAL Real Nice EH!!!!
