FlexiDip the new PlastiDip?

I have been on the fence whether I wanted to debadge the "Camaro" emblem from the side of the car recently...but I think I found a solution.

During a nice wash and wax session I noticed that the previous owner had plastidipped the CAMARO emblem and upon further inspection I noticed that the dip was coming off exposing the chrome underneath ()...not a fan of chrome...anyways, I have always liked a clean debadged car look, but I really like how the "CAMARO" emblem looks on the side in black...so while I was at Home Depot buying some black dip I noticed that they had white and figured why not give it a try...best of both worlds, blends in so not too noticeable from a distance, still clean looking but as you get closer it jumps out at you!

My wife thinks it looks "too aftermarkety", her words... I like it some and think it will grow on me...what do you think?

I like it. Nice and subtle. After seeing this I'll probably do my SS badges white.

Best regards,

Thanks, I used to have the red SS badges on the back but took them off since I wanted to keep people guessing...although it should be pretty obvious the type of car...if i had the white I would have done the SS badges at the time

FlexiDip the new PlastiDip?

I think it looks good, but I am confused about the title of your thread. You don't mention FlexiDip at all? Is FlexiDip the brand of the white spray you bought?

Sorry I forgot to mention that...so while I was searching through Home Depot I wasn't finding any "PlastiDip", instead they had "FlexiDip" which was basically the same thing so I wonder if they stopped carrying "PlastiDip". I used to buy it there all the time.

Ok, that makes sense now. Maybe it's a regional thing, I just bought some PlastiDip at my Home Depot recently.

I do like the badges in white. They look great on your car!

I think the white emblems look awesome! I'm wondering what it would look like on my car, except with red plastidip..

Thx for this post, I been starting to hate the camaro badge lately! This is nice fix! How easy is it to apply plastidip?

Did you plastidip your rims?

I would do my stock rims, but not a fan of matte, does plastidip come in gloss black and/or white?
