Hurst

BUT!!
here is the big question/deal breaker.
If I can't get Leather in the 1SS then I am going all out for the 2SS.

But logically. . .does it make sense to get leather in the 1SS? Dealer and I looked up how much leather cost on other cars. . . Average was $1,300. . . Ok, now add $300(?) for the 4 gauge pod.

This brings leather and pod to estimated total of $1,600. The price difference of the 1ss and 2ss is $3185. We need to subtract $1,600 form the difference, bringing us to $1,585.

So for a whopping $1,585 . . . is the hassle really worth it? I think not. . . Might change my order tomorrow already.
If you want leather, just order the 2SS. I don't think you are going to see GM offer it as an option on the 1SS before your order drops for production.

Besides, you'll get the ambient lighting and the Boston Acoustics audio plus the connectivity and convenience package as well.

Well, according to this build selector on the link below, you can get 1SS with leather seats but, they are Orange Inferno "yuck" so... there you go.

OR, this build selector is wrong.

I hope you can add leather to a 1SS later. Don't see why not.:(
In my case, I won't need it since I am tracking the car so leather seats are no good to me due to grip etc.

I'm pretty sure that build selector is wrong.

From the ordering guide:

Quote:
Interior Accent Trim Package (W1 H)
(Available on 2 LT and 2 SS ) Cost: $500
Black interior with Inferno Orange accents on:
 Leather-appointed front seating surfaces
 R ear seating surfaces
 Steering wheel
 Shift knob
 Door armrest
 Center console
Instrument panel and door trim inserts

I order mine and wanted the RS Package but the dealer said it did not come with the polished wheels. So I want the polish but can't get the RS. BUMMER.

You will be able to next month. Order the car as you want with the RS and then go back and add the polished wheels when the system has been corrected to allow the 2 options to co-exist.

I already put in my order and have a six digit conformation made up of letters. Anyway, the salesman told me I could not get the polished with the RS package. My order is already in. Do you think that I will loose my place if we add the RS Package? Again, I didn't get the RS because I wanted polished wheels. What to do?

RS Polished wheels should be able next month. Can't order anything right now.

BTW - I emailed my sales guy and upgraded to the 2SS with leather. . . Don't want it unless i can get my leather. I figured I would downgrade to the 1SS if leather becomes an option.
