Is this really Weld's issue to resolve? The e-brake cable is a known "issue" and an easy fix.

They had no known issues when I spoke to them today so I'll let them determine that. They can solve that issue with a simple 1/2 offset adjustment. If I can help them built a better product and keep other buyers from having they same issues it will be a win win.

What do you consider being an "easy fix"?

I had NO issues with my emergency brake cables rubbing. Maybe its a hit and miss with each car.

I ordered my wheels and tires from Summit. They price matched a place I found on the internet, and they had everything in stock. I wish I had ordered a different rear spacing on the rear wheels, but those specific wheels were not in stock, so I settled on what was in stock.

Just curious if you've had a chance to try out the 17x11's yet. I'm kind of torn between the Hoosier slicks and the M&H 325/45-17's. I've been thinking of trying the 11's....but found your thread and am hoping you're close..

You can run the M&H on a 10" rim. (+/- 1" of their suggested size)
If you decide on a 11" rim I think the combo will stick out a little too much. If you bring the offset in any further the lower control arm will have a serious conflict with it.

Much appreciated. Yea....after I posted that last one I ended up finding another thread where the member was running the M&H. I looked good. Playing it safe and running the recommended sizes from Weld will just have to be good enough. At least then I can run the slicks or the DR's... Thanks again...

I haven't tried the 11" wheels yet, but am determined to try them. Looking at how the 10s fit on the car now, having the 11s on there wont bring it out enough to worry about rubbing. There is plenty of clearance between the tire and quarter panel. If I were to measure, it is at least 2", so that extra 1 inch in width would have no problem fitting. I have a buddy that has a 2011 2SS that might buy my 10s, so if that happens, I am gonna try the 11s for sure. Even if I don't go with the 11 wide, I am going to order the wheels with 1 inch less rear spacing, so the rear wheels stick out that extra inch. That will give the rear wheels a little more depth, since the front and rear wheels look identical. That extra inch will break it up a little more.

Does anyone know at what point you have to screw the rim and tire together? And if you run a drag radial instead of a conventional slick do you have to screw them also?
