ZL1 1LE Wing from C7 Carbon Installed (cont.)!

Thanks everyone! It does look awesome.

Took it out today to give it a test -- the height of the uprights are perfect -- very little rear window blockage -- I would say 2" smaller and your view will be more limited.

Also, the adapter is fantastic -- there will be NO buckling of the trunk lid -- it gives the re-enforcement needed -- so that is a huge advantage for the early 5th gen guys! Later 5th gen folks will need to work that out -- if C7 created an adapter for the later 5th gens, that would solve the problem.

Here are some pics I took as I filled it up on E:

Trans-formative look and vision is a lot better than I expected. I'd get it again in a HEARTBEAT -- great job C7 Carbon! Now, oil change and getting ready for CFest!

Now this is what the 'proto-type' ZL1 1LE for a 5th gen should be like ;o) Lovin' the wing setup!

Thanks! I really like how it turned out...

I know it took 7 months to get the prototypes figured out but still, its amazing to just 'stare' at ;o). I keep going out and looking @ it as I can't believe I finally got to install it!

Like I noted, 'prototype' ZL1 1LE 5th gen ;o). Still a fun car to drive after 5 years of ownership!

Just checked out the video it gets better every time I see it. That silicone really cleaned up nice to. Your RJT is such a sweet color as well!

You mind if I ask where you got the Flex fuel badge or what car its originally for?

Ebay on the Flex Fuel badges. I bought the GM version (yellow). They have a bunch.

I know what you mean, I still go out in the garage and look @ it ;o). That water cleanup- acrylic/silicone works super for these types of jobs... Learned that from Steve Hines (Hex Vents).
