Cool story. I can't imagine that being worth the coin to fix? Just publicity for the rod shop?

Maybe someone at C&C lost their cherry in that car. Ya $30-40K is a lot for a 3rd gen. is it a Z28 ? I can't tell .

Take the money and buy a NEW 5th gen. WTF? I sure wouldn't want that hulk for 30-40K. Not even going to be worth that.

Was it just me, or was that an awkward read?

Not a Z28, no. Looks like a '92 heritage edition RS. No way there is any R.O.I. in restoring that car. If this was an '89 TTA or something, that's a different story.

No way in hell, unless it was a '70 Chevelle SS LS6 convertible or similar, would I consider restoring a car that had been in water like this.
A regular restoration is a pain in the ass as it is, I don't need even more aggravation.
