Red face Got to Ohio..... IPS Update

Hi Guys,

Got to Ohio today and got to say that Jeff and the IPS guys have been great so far.

Dropped the Camaro off at their offices and one of the guys gave me a ride back to the hotel.

Just wanted to report back on the good as well. Tomorrow the Tin Soldier IV will be born!

One of my ex employees is the IT Manager at the new track that the corvette museum is building in Bowling Green KY, if I have time on the way back he thinks he can get me on the track even though it is technically not open yet.

Good luck hopefully everything goes smoothly. I'll definitely be watching.

Still waiting on my kit... it's funny, I waited FOREVER for people to buy this kit and review it and nobody ever did. I gave up waiting and bought it Nov. 20 now since then like 3 people have got it installed and they dropped the price to 6000 lol

But thats how it goes. You'll be the first to run one at the track though, can't wait to see what you can do.

Where do you see that price at? It's still listed at 6700 on their website?

Definitely looking forward to seeing track results.

Your right, they changed it back, must have been in the last day or two because I looked at it not long ago. They lowered it a couple days before thanksgiving and apparently just raised it back to normal price. Here's a link to the thread I posted

Not sure what the breakdown is.

I am dropping just under $11,000 for:

Twin Turbo Setup
Boot Controller
Gauges and Gauge Pod, Pillar Post
MagnaFlow Exhaust

Install on all of the above and tune.

The free install, they state was a mispost, that was for the first car of the model year only.

Fabberge themselves said if we take it their their shop, they'll install it for free. IPS is just a dealer for the kit. Can you clarify for me the 11k? you say thats with install correct?

According to some of the tech's here, there is no difference between the two. The owner, Staas (?) wanted to separate the manufacturing and performance, and that we "misunderstood" the post. All of the installs done for Fabberge are done at IPS, and that post was only good for the first model year they do.

Correct, that number includes install.

Update... They didn't want me hovering over their shoulder and asked me to not come by the shop, which I guess I can understand.

Jeff did send me these two pics:

They should finish up tomorrow if all goes well.
