The ZL1 is designed to handle that much power, the modified SS is not. Also the suspension on the 2010's are terrible.

ZL1. However, you should buy the car that you want.

Just don't test drive the ZL1. That way, you'll never know what you were missing when you pick up the SS.

ZL1 like the majority has already said...
You can get a ZL1 to 600whp very easily, and already have the suspension & drivetrain to handle it well.

Hah. Yeah, why op didn't simply post the prices rather than the comparisons is a mystery wrapped in a conundrum.

OP, as others have stated, the ZL1 has better handling, stronger rear, easy to add 125 HP with LT, CAI, pulley, ID1050, tune..
But there is nothing wrong with the SS, that is one solid car as well. Not everybody buys cars for the same reason some like the color some like the handling some like the horsepower some just want girls. check them both out and just go with your gut

Thanks guys, im passing on the ZL1 because the guy isn't replying to my requests for a vin# to have the car fax checked.
I also found out that the only mods on the SS are the 2.3 litre Maggie and the cold air intake, so the car isn't anywhere near 600 rwhp IMO , more like 570-580 at the crank. To the guys interested in prices, the ZL1's are going for $40 000 and up , the red one was selling for $36 000 and I got him down to $33k , and I can get the SS for around $28k , so that was my issue. But now the red one is out of the question so its either get this SS in the high $20's, or pay $40k + for a ZL1, and in that case the SS is probably my only option until prices come down on the Z's |

Of course id MUCH rather the ZL1 , ive been drooling over them for the past year or two, but the damn prices are holding real firm , they haven't dropped at all from 2017to 2018 , even the 2012's and 2013's. But I don't think many are actually selling, so its only a matter of time before the sllers start dropping the price |

You can find a supercharged early 5th for a lot less then 28k. This took me 3 mins and is local here plus some forum ones that make your ss a bad deal IMO. Wouldn’t spend anywhere close to that. Resale alone I’d rather pay 40k for a zl1 than 28k for a 2010. 2010 Camaro SS Supercharged https://indianapolis.craigslist.org/...654104979.html 2011 https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showt...t=Supercharged Mint 2015 30k but 5 years newer recaros and less mileage. https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showt...t=Supercharged

Agreed. I don’t think any 2010 is worth $28k anymore.

Think it over carefully. If its really the ZL1 that you want, then keep shopping. Consider buying one in the states and shipping it to Canada. Look at the import rates or tariffs that apply, etc. and see whether importing one will work out.
Good luck.
