Another advantage to having the gas cap on the pass side is it gives you plenty of room to open the big, wide doors on the camaro without worrying about hitting anything. For that reason alone, I say... another thoughtful move by the GM engineers who designed this puppy.
You could always go with the locking aluminum gas cap.
