It is the manual 6 speed. Automatic 6 speed is called A6. These are commonly used in reference to the SS transmissions.

Mine is doing the same thing with the notch feel onto third. Had my trans fluid changed about 1500miles ago. Thinking I might try some RP fluid.

I was just thinking that I might post this same issue this morning. Yes, mine has the same issue going into third. At first I thought it may be me just not fully engaging the clutch or something since it doesn't seem to happen on down shifts from 4 to 3, but I very often notice this on 2 to 3; but it is not 100% of the time. I only have 1400 miles on my car, so I don't think it is a wear issue yet. Glad to see I'm not going insane.

i guess i will have to take it in. problem is i hate the chevy dealer close to me that why i went out of my way to get the camaro at a dealer i like
i would hate to take that trip only to hear "we cant find anything wrong"

but it clearly is not as smooth has it was and i am pretty sure i didnt forget how to shift.

we shall see
