Rare and VERY rare, owning a part of histroy

HOW RARE IS RARE when coming to limited #'s cars..

I was watching the video of a LF-A and it is known as a "rare" car. So, going though some cool stats and neat fact.

LFA - 340
SLR - 1151
Bugatti Veryon - 300
Ferrari Enzos - 399
SSC Ultimate Aero - 25
Lamborghini Reventions - 20
LPE CES - 10

Now my car,
Lingenfelter CES body 25th Anniversary (you can not buy the rear that I have without the getting the whole car) I have very good connections...
Limited to 25 cars but only 1o were ever made!! I do not have the entire kit but do have the authentic body panels.

Info on the LPE CES 25th
Quote:
- Unique body enhancements included: Lingenfelter C6 hood, Lingenfelter front spoiler, Lingenfelter side skirts and unique one piece rear fascia with Lingenfelter logo embossed - The large embossed center logo was only available on this special edition car all other fascias sold had small logo at the bottom right.
http://www.lingenfelter.com/engine-p...edition-corvet

So, the chance of seeing another car like mine is less likely than every car on that list above. I love having unique items but no it means more to me than ever...

If we keep this to factory produced cars, I have one I am about to get rid of.

Dodge Caliber SRT4 - 704 produced total between the 2008/09 model years.

Between 2008-2009 there were only two blue HHR SS Panel Wagons made. I have a 2008 HHR SS(Black) only 1800 were made total. Unfortunately Black is the most common. The blue one is a friggin' Unicorn!!

Wow, I didn't think that sort of thing happened these days. You see all these collector car auctions where they're like "one of only 2 made with this option combo" etc.. You'd think it'd be very busy to make an option available with all the R&D required and then only make 2 cars with that option...

I owned 1 of only 6644 1964 GTO covertibles.

I owned 1 of only 1000 "Special Production" 2006 Soltice.

Wish I had some of them back!!!!! :(

Happened with the 98 Firebird and Trans Am. They introduced this Purple Metallic color that for some reason wouldn't stick to the cars very well so they yanked it and replaced it with Navy Blue Metallic (which in the end wassprobably WAY more popular than that Purple would ever be).

I don't know the figures on regular firebirds and Trans Ams, but I do know they only made 6 WS6 Trans Ams in this color, I almost bought one. In the end though... it was still a purple trans am. Guy even had a hard time selling it, it was a good deal.

Rare != Valuable.

I looked up the numbers on the HHR.net forums and also when I got to meet FBODFATHER back in January at the Utah Auto Expo we were talking about it. The HHR SS are pretty rare. I've never seen another one here in Utah. I know it's just an HHR but people who are car enthusiasts always stop me and ask me about it. I really think Chevrolet should have made them AWD to compete with the WRX Subarus. But....

Lack of AWD was why the HHR never took off the the Northeast.
