dash information????? shifter display
ok now that I am trying to figure out all the info, I got the menu and went through everything pretty trick stuff. But what I want to know is how do you get the shifter gear and pattern to stay illuminated. I tried my onstar directions and right at the start the dash displayed the gear I was in and the shift pattern pretty trick but I am not able to find it to leave it on the dash . I cant find it on the menu and it only came on intially with the navigation on. Can you get the car to leave the shifter display on????????

the only time ive seen a shift pattern show up on the dash is when the stupid skip-shift kicks on, and all thats telling you to do is go from 1 to 4

ok that makes sense why I have only see it appear a couple of times, dam it would have been cool to have a gear indictator to look at, and no this is on the six speed manual tranny
