Shop To Install Headers in San Diego

Anyone know of a good shop to have long tube headers installed in San Diego? Cunningham quoted me $850 which is absurd and JBA said they won't do it because its not legal. Any suggestions in the local SD area?

Cunningham better be including a tune with that install price LOL. I got mine for less than half of that installed plus an H-pipe.

Nope the tune was another $550, which is reasonable for a good tune but $850 for install is outrageous. I'm just having trouble finding any shop here that will touch the cats :/

Move to LA, literally no shop even takes into consideration if the system is going to have cats or not lol.

But $550 for the tune is not bad at all actually. You have any other mods that you plan on doing? Get all the mods in before your tune so it's only tuned once.

lol $850. That's the, "we don't have time to screw around with header installs" price.

I'm gonna wait and do e85 flex fuel. That's why I only care about the install price at this moment.

That's exactly what I did. You can run the LT headers without a tune, it'll throw a light but that's it.. The car still runs fine. I ran my car for about a week with LT installed without a tune meanwhile I waited for my appointment for my tune with e85.

Yeah, don't even worry about the light, you get used to it! lol.

But for some reason, when the check engine light went on, so did my tire pressure light even though the PSI was fine. I've tried to see if anyone has had the same problem when adding headers, but seems it's only me lol.

I'm guessing that's a coincidence then and another issue haha

Hit up Accelerated Racing Solutions in Rancho Cucamonga. They are nice peeps and did the header install on my car. Did an excellent job and had great CS. Highly recommend Brandon and Tianna over there... They are on Facebook, just look them up and message them see what they can do for you. I can tell you cost wise they were much cheaper...

I didn't want to have to go all the way up to LA but thanks for the tip! I may have to worst cast scenario.
