Last year I stared at a black sky of horror to my west...I do not have an enclosed trailer and was not brave enough to drive into that storm! Hopefully better weather this year!

That’s where at least two of us will be staying. Last year, we all stayed there.

No one knows at this point. This is the first rally that isn’t on the usual weekend.

Just registered.

Last year for the car show, we went in with the Camaro clubs as "Camaro5". I say we do that again this year. It was a great way to meet fellow Camaro5 members.

Yeah, going into the car show as a Camaro5 group sounds good. A group cruise by Mt. Rushmore sounds like fun, we would be up for that! We just made our hotel reservations in Sturgis, last year we stayed at Spearfish and it seemed like it was too far way... Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Whats up folks. Holiday Inn used to be the "host" hotel. It has since been renamed Baymont Inn. Not sure if there is an official "host" hotel this year. I was previously on here as Dave@Sturgiscamaro, but have reverted back to my personal account since the City has taken over the rally and I did not want people to think I was speaking on behalf of them. If you have any questions visit the page https://www.sturgiscamarorally.com

Unfortunately I will not be attending this year (deployment) but hope you all have a great time enjoying my local playground..

Thank you for your service Dave! I hope the City does a little better job this next year. Looking at the new schedule looks like its a better layout, but we shall see.

Wow, this sounds like fun. It's only about 900 miles to Sturgis from Boise, so perhaps I can swing it. Hmmmmmm...

I know we discussed a group cruise last year. I'd love to do it!

Where are you staying this years?

I've been looking things over on the website and I really want to attend this event for the first time. I'm trying to pursued my buddy to go with me. I doubt I am game for an 1,800 mile round trip alone.

So, if my buddy will go, I'm in. If not, I doubt I will make it. For now, I'd at least like to go ahead and book a room. I should know for sure a few weeks in advance of the event, but that might be too close to ensure a room. Some of you mentioned staying at the Day's Inn. Does anyone know the cancellation policy there? I'm not finding it on the website.

One other question... I'm just wondering why the registration fee is based on the model of Camaro you bring? Z28 people pay more than SS people who pay more than RS people. This doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Any insights?
