My Camaro's Older Brother Twin

This is a 1968 Camaro that I just purchased last week. It just happened to be a twin of My 2010 SIM Camaro.

Enjoy the pics.

That is a VERY NICE addition to your collection.

I want to advise you to remove and toss that gas filter in the trash. I used to run one like that on my '69 and they are a REAL hazard. The problem I experienced was when I parked it for a few months, the gas in the lines would empty out. The rubber o-rings in the ends of the filter will dry out and shrink. This allows the gas to pump out when you start the car back up after a long rest. You will not have a problem when you park it but when you start it back up, the gas will be squirting out all over the running engine big time. It only needs to find a spark and POOF! No more Camaro. This is not some internet legend here, it IS real. I noticed a big puddle on the floor as I was backing out of the garage so I caught it before it went up in flames but it was real close.

Enjoy your toys!

-Mark.

Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks, Everyone, I still have a few minor things that I need to work out, but it is a work in progress, and it does run.

Hey, if it were perfect it would be no fun. You always got to have something to tinker with.
