Vibration in seat at highway speeds, (above 70mph)
My 2010 1SS 6spd has a vibration in the seat at 70mph and higher. I plan on taking it to the dealership soon and hope its just a tire balancing issue.
I know there is a EI (Subject:EI10067 ) on this but is there any new information here? From the EI, it appears that the issue is still under investigation by GM engineers. TIA!

Amazed that the GM bulletin is still under investigation. I have battled this problem since last year when new. A number of issues are causing this, axle angle, broken cv on the axles, bad driveshaft center bearings and driveshaft angle, bad wheel bearing, bad differential.
we are very close to fixing this issue and have gotten our car smooth up to 100MPH now with minor rear vibration coming in after that. Its been a long expensive battle. No dealership had a clue how to diagnose this issue for us. |
