Honestly, I think the ATAK system sounds like a riced out 4 banger. Maybe I need to heard it in person but it just doesn’t seem to have the deep V8 sound to me. I love Borla and I am going to put in a Borla system, but I’m not sure just yet if I want the ATAK or S-Type. Listening to the S-Type and the ATAK I think the S-Type sounds much better. Deep low rumbles compared to the ATAk which seems noisier but more like a 4 banger ricer rocket.

I love the ATAK.. nice work over at Borla. Always have loved the deep race car type sound out of an exhaust package.

Darth, I have some experience with drone heard with an Aftermarket exhaust.... it is completely ANNOYING!!!! With L99 and cruising at highway speeds, 60-70 mph, the engine kicks in the AFM and that is where the drone comes from. If you turn AFM off with your engine tune job, you will not hear the drone anymore because the AFM is gone. You can put any exhaust on at this point and get exactly what you want and i think you Touring system will be perfect! Please post video when you get all done.

David or Chris@Borla, I'm in the catagory "My wife won't allow me to change computer settings because she believes in warranties". So, I'm pretty sure I need a system that gives me the super agressive sound and combats AFM drone at the same time. You got something for that? Nice video!

You definitely need to hear it in person then. The last thing you'll ever think is ricer. I had and loved the S-type, but this thing just sounds like a beast. Zero rice here...just a 22oz porterhouse with a loaded baked potato!

That's what I would like to at least do. I'm sure it sounds totally different in person. I will say that all my previous Mustangs I have owned i always went with MagnaFlow because I always loved the low rumbles but it would pop when I jumped on the gas.

But I am sure without hearing it I would go with the ATAK just because I trust Borla and I'm sure I would be very happy with it.

WILL YOU BE EXPERIMENTING WITH ANY V6 MUFFLERS? RIGHT NOW MOST SOUND TOO MUCH LIKE AN IMPORT CAR....PREFER THE DEEPER, THROATY TONE...KNOW YOU'LL NEVER GET THE V8 SOUND BUT??????

YES!!! That bit of rasp on the OEM manifolds and cats' will get me past not being able to run LTs

I'll miss the power, but I'm not going through that again.
