whats the scoop on the tranzilla transmission?
anybody have any input regarding tranzilla?

They are pretty tough units. We were going to put one in the Firebird but I found a place in Florida that made an HD gearset that was remachined and cryogenically treated for the TKO-600 to handle high HP. It did what we needed. May want to search some boards for people who have actually driven a Tranzilla.

Looks like a hardened output shaft with corvette syncro's.
From what I've seen the gen5's just need a hardened output shaft to handle big power. For long 4th gear pulls at big power just need to add a sprayer too. |
