Perfect! You read my mind. I'd shop at night, though, so there aren't quite as many cars in the lot.

I know the door ding pain. When I got my 94 Camaro it was my first new car. I had to go to the grocery store to pick something up, this was about two weeks after I got the car. I parked in an area as depicted in the image in a previous post. Wayyy out in the boonies. Not a single car around where it was parked. Go into the store and get my stuff. Come back out and there is a Saab POS parked right on top of me. I look at the rear quarter panel and sure sh!t, a nice ding. GRRRR!

Needless to say, I somehow lost my balance, and my knee just happened to put a big dent in the Saab's driver's side door. Oops. The sad thing is that the Saab was such a pos, the owner probably never noticed. But it at least made me feel just a touch better.

It's really ashame that ppl just can't respect other ppl's stuff... :(

I have a friend that got soooooo mad that he rammed his cart into the car...At least 2 dozen times! At least that is what he told me, he is crazy enough to do it. I believe him.

No, but there's a guy in the office who I'm sure has. I'll go ask him.

I like to say FALCON PUNCH at random now. It's catchy.

this one is the same thing and cheaper, but it is so ugly unless you have a yellow car.

There are a whole lot of people out there who do not care about cars, let alone your car. I do my best to park out in BFE, but occasionally there is always some "person" who will park right next to me even though they could have easily left 1 or 2 spaces between us. You eventually are likely to get nicks, chips, scrapes, curb rash, cracked windshield, tint installer nicking a piece of the interior with a razor blade, etc. and that's just the way it is, unless you "zip lock" your car and just look at it. Even then, mother nature could cause a tree to slam through your garage, flooding, etc. that could cause your insurance to total your Camaro.
Well stated. A lot of people consider door dings just normal wear and tear on cars. I hate the dings too, but I buy a car to drive for many years, and thus you will get nicks, scratches, etc. That's life.

That said, I have had one of those paintless dent removal companies work on the rear quarter panels of my Z28. That metal is so thin any door touching them will leave a ding. They did a good job on getting the dings out.
