I would never pay a dealer more then MSRP no matter how much I want it or how much I have. Dealers are like Wh*res, they will **** and suck every last dollar they can. I have never heard a dealer say " oh where making a good profit". Do you think they can pay there GM, Owner, Owners Wife, kids, sales manager let alone there electric bill when they say " oh were giving it to you at cost or below.

its dealers like you that are going to screw this up for GM. GM HAS A SET MSRP. USE THAT!!!! OMG I hope when gm goes 11 the over MSRP dealers are the ones that are closed.

A. There are PLENTY of dealers selling at MSRP.

B. Unless you have money to throw away, and have to be the first one on the block, theres no reason to pay over msrp IMO.

When you say that $5K over is the "market" for these cars you are dead wrong...You can only classify it as the "Market price" if a majority of people are willing to buy them at that price and a majority of dealers are selling at that price. That is sure not the case. Just because a some dealers are being greedy bastards and marking up the price doesn't mean it is the "market" price. I sure hope your dealership makes GM's closing list tomorrow and the MSRP or below dealers don't.
