Houston house of power for a tune ?

Hey guys I'm creating this thread to see if any of y'all guys have experience with hhp. I currently have headers and cai and i want to get a dyno tune but i am a little worried about getting a tune that will cause problems all around. Ive reasearched and found that lmr has very good reviews but hhp is a little cheaper, so for those of y'all who have goten their cars tuned by hhp how good of a job do they do? Have y'all had any problems with the tune?

We have used Chuck over at HHP, no issues with him. We have also used Matt over at FSP, no issues with him as well.

You might also want to check out KP Racing, Joe over there is good.

Thank you,
Ricardo

Used HHP and had it double checked at G-Force just because. Needed a full retune due to him using the wrong MAP sensor stats in the tune. VE tables were off. My car is a Houston "tune whore" and Pat G in Victoria is by far the most efficient and respectable tuner I have ever dealt with.

G-Force and Pat G have both tuned my car. I trust them both.

Me too...

PowerFab is also a solid shop on the North side of Houston. If I can't get down to J-Rod in Rosenburg they would be a great choice as is KP Racing.

Two years for me... just sold the car and this was a solid selling point as the new owner knows the good tuners too.

G Force is the place to go.

I agree with @HOU_TX_SS he jacked up my AFR really bad. Was running AFR similar to a boosted car on just a simple cam only 5th gen. Not sure on his re-tune policy but he basically wanted for me to pay for a whole new tune to correct the issue.

Yes, but you'd need to call them for price since that depends on details of your car. PowerFab and KPRacing are two of the best and our Camaro club used them a lot. You can find their phone numbers here...

I just got my car tuned at HHP and had a wonderful experience. Both Elliot and Chuck were cool. I have LT headers, HFC, NPP and Vararam Intake. Stock was rwhp 370 and rwtq 366 once the tune was complete it went to rwhp/tq 415/409 pulled all the way to 6600 and have had zero issues, plus they have a bunch of eye candy to look at while you wait!! Lol
