While not having a CD player kind of sucks, I rarely ever used it in my Tundra. I much rather just use my iPhone. I have like 350+ songs on it. It's not like there is ample CD storage in a Camaro.

I'm actually talking about the quality of the system. I was happy to hear this had a 7 speaker Boston acoustics system....then I listened to it.... ugh. Absolutely no bass, how?!? (Yes I adjusted the settings)
When my beats headphones are better sound quality than a "premium" 7 speaker stereo? Bleh. My brother rented a new jetta and his stereo blew mine away! So disappointing.

Hmmmm... I think my BA system sounds awesome! Maybe something wrong with the factory sub? Mine really thumps, but it's very dependent on the source quality. Original CD's always sound best because of the higher fidelity. MP3's are very dependent on how they were ripped. Some of mine sound great, some way too much, or too little of something...

They make programs that equalize your MP3's so they are all generally the same levels. But the good ones take a while and I have over 30k songs.

Factory sub only came in the vert. According to Crutchfield and a few other sources I've found.

So I finally settled on this shifter knob, and ordered it.

http://www.andysautosport.com/produc...o__GOTBK1.html

Any thoughts? I'm doing a few things to my motorcycle to get it ready to sell to recoup the money I put down on the camaro loan.
Promised the fiancee I would sell the bike before I spent money on the car.

Current plans will be a Flowmaster american thunder axle back system, 1" lowering springs and rims if I can ever find a color combo and settle on it. Thinking very seriously of doing a black cherry with some flake in it as an accent color for stripes or other accents on the outside.

Don't really think I'm gonna do the blacked out look, alot of people have done it. Think I'm gonna go in a different direction. Certainly welcome any thoughts.

Congrats

I recently got a 2012 too! I love this car---excellent in so many ways---with a few exceptions, stereo etc. What I wish someone would have told me from the get go is---park "in front of everything" no more pulling up to stuff. It is easy to accidentally nip the front on parking spot concrete/curbs etc. But since you are a professional driver, you probably already sized this car up. Your car is truly beautiful in every way.

Actually, I'm used to having to park that way because my semi has a big deer bumper that hangs just slightly lower than my bumper and I scuffed it a couple times!

I appreciate it, I only get to drive it a couple days a month.... but I sure am happy with it.

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
