The stance is great now. Not so low that it's a PITA to drive, but low enough so that it looks good.

There was also a marked improvement in handling and in how the car feels through turns. It's far less "wallowy" now.

Considering the cost and the time involved it's a great mod in my opinion.
I agree with you, the guys at DSE are great to work with and parts and instructions are spot on.

Who did you talk with at Detroit Speed
Love the ground affect color as well
Very nice
talkked with Mark at DSE and they were great to work with, I painted them a Hot Rod black, it is a single stage paint that is not a gloss black but it has a nice sheen to it similar to the stripes on the car. Cleans up excellent and takes wax or polish unlike some of the flat black paints out there.

What exactly did you change?
I apologize, they are not coilovers, they are coil springs that replace the original springs and utilize the factory strut.

How much stiffer did the ride get?
the ride is a little stiffer but not dramatically, however the handling is much improved as well as the look. A small price to pay......

Yes, DSE sends the specs sheet for realignment and my local dealer put it on the rack when we were done and set it to their specs. and it drives as good as new....

I bought one of the first kits offered and I think it was about a $1,000 delivered. A friend of mine is a mechanic and did it in about 6 hrs. at his home, if you had a lift probably would be faster. It was pretty straight forward.

I love it!! The car looks spectacular with that drop and I also like the slight sheen on the GFX with that black...I have similar plans for the GFX to match the matte hood/hockey stripes on my CGM when it arrives. Great mod!
