With that build, you better be 8's, or don't post. Good luck.

Trailer to the east coast. Late October through November. Bring spare drivetrain parts.

Is your new build still the TSP 418 with new cam? Or is it totally new?

I'm doing a 427 LSX now and am looking at cam selection myself. Doing a TT upgrade with Kevin also. What turbos are you now looking at? And what heads/flow are you running?

staying with tried and true stock heads for now. If I can get the LS3 to hold the power I want this season I will look at upgrading the heads later. I don't want to spend $4000 on heads to only lose a piston and grenade the long block. hopefully within a week or so I will have the new 6868S Z2 turbos from AGP. goal is to make 1100-1200 WHP corrected through the TH400.

Let me know what cam specs you guys end up with, along with stall speed. I need a converter and thinking about going with a turbo specific cam at the same time. LPE 417 LS3 with their ported LS3 heads here, currently using their GT9 cam also.

will do sir. Thats a monster you have now. I have the texas speed stage 2 blower cam and its 227/235, .641"/.649", 114 LSA. What I would like is something with some advance. I see most of the turbo cams seem to be around 114 or 115 LSA or higher and then +4,+5 or even +6 of cam advance.

Cam motion spec'ed me a TT LLSR cam with a 427. It is with 1.8 rockers (LSx-LS7 heads byFrankenstein)
702/688 232/240 117+3; .000” cold, .010” hot Nailed what I wanted. I made 1212/1185 at the wheels. I was limited by the wastegates as I hit 2x spring pressure around 27#. I have the AGP 6565s. The tuner said I was not out of turbo. I estimate I should have made 1300-1350 through an M6. I had some spark blowout on highest boost. On 13.6#, it made 1006/832. I forgot to get a picture of an 1176 and the 1212 graphs. Second picture is when I had EFR7670s (57/58mm) and a bigger cam (256/258, 118+4). It shows what little turbos on a big engine can do. It felt very OEM like and went from vacuum to boost almost instantly. In the EFR logs, the kpa is almost vertical. I recommend you call Cam Motion for a cam. |

I run 7psi base springs and can easily see 30psi boost, no CO2 or any similar nonsense needed. |
