Hell yeah!! Eat at Hooters with a cruise through St Johns Town Center followed by the 9A/295 circle cruise!! Sounds fun.

CONTEST - USO CHEVY FIREBALL RUN CHALLENGE – LAST WEEK TO ENTER.
The Greater Jacksonville USO is partnering with Chevrolet to find a few good men and women to compete for a chance to represent USO during the 2011 Chevrolet Fireball Run, an adventure-rally race to find missing children. Please visit the website for detailed info.

This challenge is open to active or retired military (teams of two). Two winning USO teams will be fully sponsored by Chevrolet (an approximate $10,000 value). Each team will be provided Chevy Camaro SS’s for the week-long “mission style” journey spanning 18 cities and 3,500 miles. The team’s missions will be to distribute 1,000 posters of a missing child, while they make stops on their route to participate in interactive games and motorsports competitions.

The Chevy Fireball Run will begin Saturday, September 24, 2011 in Melbourne, FL and end in Gulf Port, MS on Saturday, October 1, 2011. To ensure that each team has transportation to Melbourne, FL, for the event starting point and transportation home from the event’s final stop in Gulfport, MS, vehicles will be delivered to the teams prior to the official start date and picked up after the teams have returned home.

All inclusive registration for our two winning USO teams will also include fuel costs, accommodations (one room per team with separate bedding), all food and beverage, incidentals, all game, track, and event fees plus gift packages.

How to Enter:
Ask a fellow active or retired military friend to be your teammate. Write a brief summary (150 words or less) about your team, including each teammate’s job title and branch of military, with an explanation of why your team wants to represent USO in the Chevrolet Fireball Run. Entries should be e-mailed to info@accesspr.net with a team photo. Videos will also be accepted, but are not required (videos not to exceed one minute).
The deadline for entries is May 30, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. A communications panel will review all submissions and select the 10 teams with the most compelling entries to move on to the second phase of the challenge. These teams will be featured on www.drivingthesoutheast.com and winners will be determined based on the two teams that receive the most online votes. Final overall winners will be contacted and then announced on June 16, 2011.
Contest Rules/Entrant Requirements
·All entrants must enter as a team, consisting of 2 members.
·All team members must be active or retired military.
·Due to insurance requirements, all team members must be at least 25 years of age.
·All team members must have a valid driver’s license.
·Individuals with DUI's are ineligible to participate.
·All team members must be available to participate during the week the event is scheduled (Saturday, September 24, 2011 - Saturday, October 1, 2011), including travel time to get to the event starting point and return home from the event’s final stop.
