Haven't posted in a while but i have some bad news. My intake valve in cylinder number 4 dropped into the cylinder and completely demolished everything.... Put a nice hole in my block and a chunk of the piston fell out..

So now its time to build an entire new motor.
I want something that will be able to make ~800rwhp but for now ill lower the boost and keep the power lower because everything in my drivetrain is stock except for the clutch. so basically i just want to be able to turn up the boost someday when i beef up the tranny and rear end and still have a very reliable engine.

Still not too sure about what motor/block ill be using but if anyone has suggestions let me know. I was thinking about the lsx376 B-15 with the six bolt heads and all forged internals but I haven't done any research at all yet and haven't talked to my engine builder so its just a thought rn.

Heres some pictures..

ooh thats not cool . Feel your pain. Go with a junkyard 5.3 or 6.0 and boost it . They love the boost .

Do you have another car to drive in the meantime ?

So my new motor should be in the car within three weeks. (Trying to hurry it up so I can have the car for my graduation and prom.)
We went with an LS3 block, GM CNC/ported heads, LS7 cam, Eagle forged rods, and JE forged pistons. leavng the boost the same for now since i still have all stock tranny, drive shaft, axels, ect... should pick up a little power from the heads and cam but nothing major for now.

motor is done being built, bringing the car to the shop in a couple minutes to get the motor put in.
