Haven't been posting much, the sale of my shop is still pending but I may be pulling the plug as I can't find a suitable replacement.
Because of this I have been driving my car everywhere and the motor is running great. I've put close to 2,000 miles on it in the last couple of weeks and I am still Impressed with the Crower rockers. Because of the characteristics of the LLSR the steel rockers seem to make a huge difference, they have minimal flex and growth as well as fatigue than the aluminum rockers. This keeps lash to spec. When the aluminum rockers are cold and lash is set perfectly after driving and they get hot the lash is well out of spec, not so with the steel rockers. Also because of this they are still very quiet, it's an amazing difference. |

Ouch, I hope you're ok. The last few pages make me think if you didn't have bad luck, you'd have no luck at all.

I just got off the highway a few minutes back because rain, highway speeds and M/T ET R's don't go together well. Doing about 40-45 caught some standing water, and that was all she wrote, totally broke loose in the rear. I've driven with these tires in rain many, many times and am always cautious but I guess this time the conditions were the wright/wrong combo depending on how you look at it. |

It's this car. lol. I'm almost 62 yrs old and this car has been hit more than everything I've owned in my life combined. The car is going this time but I'm hoping to pull the motor and some of my custom stuff off, it's been running perfectly.

Wow! So sorry to see this George especially after all that work.I feel your pain as I have had similar events since owning mine as well. I am somewhat like yourself, 53 years old and have never had as many collisions as with my Camaro. I have been hit in parking lots twice and rear ended once. It's almost like they're out there to get ya lol. Glad to hear you got away without injury which is the important part and hope you won't abandon us here in the future as you have been a great inspiration. I'd like to see where that L99 finally goes too lol!

I may not be done with it yet. My plans where, after selling my current shop and finishing the Camaro was to build something wild, that something wild may be the Camaro. I'm talking from a tubular chassis up, along the lines of pro-streert. I have to think about this. |

As expected, the insurance adjuster was by today and totaled the car. Now I have to decide what to do with it.
