Does anyone like the new rear better than the old? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

With all the comments, I had to ask in a poll.

For me, I can live with the new tail lights. It's the license plate area that has really taken a step backwards.

The pre '14 had a very nice, sculpted area in body color.

The '14 has a squarish, inset area that is half body color, half diffuser color.

It's nearly the exact opposite of what Corvette did going from C5 to C6.

IMHO the new rear end looks like a Honda Prelude with a widebody kit!

I'll be keeping my '11 SS, but not because I don't care for the rear end.

Nope, I like the original better.
Is GM trying to appeal to the import buyers?

I can totally see the Prelude in that design.

looks too much like the volt. thats nice on the volt but not the ss imo. or liek above - a old prelude! or maybe an integra...either way i like my 10 better all around.

i dont think it was very easy to improve on that design...everyone loved it. when you make something so good, its pretty hard to top it.

I like the change. The back side Doesn't Bother me at all. Is the front that I really like much better than the old design.

Yes I like it but since I have less than 100 posts that makes me a GM "plant" to give it good reviews.

I kinda like it. I don't like it better than the 2010-13, but, I think it's gonna grow on me.

I was at the press day yesterday and at first i did not like it but then i got up too see the car and the rear loola great
