Kaboom 1701 - Given you are local I would PM Z Beast - he is in Huntington Beach and just took his out to put in roll bar - see his thread below. Maybe he would sell you his BK and you could save a few $

link:http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=506566

If he is not selling or already did:

Brey Krause Harness Bar - Part No. R-1150

I got mine from OG racing - no shipping cost - retail is $627

www.ogracing.com

Schroth belts are from Sube Sports in Huntington Beach. they are great to deal with - don't discount but know their stuff. Owner is former Sube rally driver (factory team) and former USA rally champion. Link to belts below

Link: https://www.subesports.com/schroth/p...-asm/sch-20070

When you order your belts have Sube Sports tell Schroth to change out the lap belt hook up's at the bottom from bolt on to clip on - so you can clip them on the harness bar. Also that makes it easier to move then in and out of the car when not going to track. They will do that at no charge as long as you order them that way.

See photos to see what I am talking about. Also on BK website there is photo of hook up point.

Also one of the nice things about these belts from Schroth is the are both DOT compliant (so legal to wear on street) and FIA compliant so legal for the track. That is why it has the red buttom instead of a cam lock for the release of the belts.
I was checking belt installation and noticed something that does not seem correct. The shoulder ASM belt should be to the inside and it seems its to the drivers door side. Shouldn't those belts be reversed?

68camaroz28 is right. I have the exact same setup and the ASM is supposed to be on the inside harness not the outside. It should have the same effect as a normal 3point harness with your inside shoulder going inward in an accident.

In an accident using just a 4 point harness, you risk the chance of submarining under the seatbelt without a 5th or 6th point. So most 4 points are not allowed on road courses. The ASM 4 point is approved because the inner strap expands in an accident causing the inside shoulder to rotate more then the outside, and this motion locks the hips in the seat a certain way and prevents you from submarining under the belts. Thats the definition in a nutshell and hope this helps.

ASM=Anti-Submarining technology
If you google "Schroth Racing Profi II ASM FE Harnesses sr20070" you can find a lot of information including simulations with dummy's on how the ASM works. Og Neon did a nice job of explaining.

For anyone thinking of obtaining Sch 20070 do it where and while you can at the $335 price range as the new price from Schroth is now a whopping $485, a $150 increase. Know Summit still had some in stock with the $335 price and free shipping.

Can anybody supply a photo of what the Schroth 4 point ASM II looks like connected to the BK Harness bar behind the seat at the top. I ordered / received my products from SUBE sports per the recommendation, however, having difficulty figuring out how the belt wraps/ connects to the harness bar and what it should look like. I have the quick connect clip ends per the recommendation, any photos would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
