Procharger filter restriction fix?
So I originally bought a D1SC kit for my car the stage II tuner kit ended up selling just the head unit and upgrading to a F1A using everything else from the D1SC Stage II kit. Having issues with the air filter restriction on a big pulley I am making 12 lbs with the filter on and 13.5 with the filter off. This is the standard filter that comes with the Stage II tuner kit. Anyone come up with a decent way to fix this? About to pulley down from the 3.85 12 rib to 3.55 and need advice on this filter situation.

What size is your suction tube?
I think mine came with 3" and the shop upgraded it to 4"

Yes, all the piping ProCharger sent with the F-1X kit was too small, plus I wanted polished piping, not black. Thankfully the shop knew better than to install the 3" suction and 2.5" discharge piping.

I went back to my build thread. They used 4" suction and 3.5" everywhere else.

Yeah spoke with Procharger, they said its common to see up to a 70hp difference with the filter on or off with no fix.

agreed! I'm using 3.5 cold side piping as well. I'm also using a turbogaurd maxx screen. cheap and non restrictive and I doubt it'd be an issue with a procharger since the inlet is backwards
