I have my 1987 corvette and I absolutely disklike the newer C4's(89-96) more than anything! Not the body changes, or the interior. But I do like the suspension part of it

Would it be fairly simple and straight forward to adapt the new C4's bolt pattern hubs etc. to my car? Because I'd like to get some new light weight wheels. But a wheel being off in any measure of size doesn't sound right and I don't like the adapters, they don't feel very safe to me either.
