That really was my point. Everyone was having a little lighthearted fun, and you took it awfully seriously, and then kind of insulted us.

As for the movie, it looks like an Arnold flick to me, and I do want to see it.

Sorry for the dig on the spelling.

My wife and I just got home from seeing the movie, wasn't great but it wasn't completely terrible either. I laughed so hard when they showed the SS embroidered headrests in the chase scene... And the non ZL1 wheels as well... priceless... There was so much emphasis on the 2 cars (not a bad thing necessarily) it felt like GM was backing the film...

Its a FAKE ZL1. Its just a 1ss with the ZL1 body. POSER. I was so mad haha. The move is Disrespect to all REAL ZL1 owners.
But it was cool seeing the scene with the Camaro vs the Vette, best part of the movie.

Because we all know no ZL1 can stay with a ZR1...
ZR1- 11.2 Quarter mile
ZL1- 11.7 Quarter mile

I'd say that's keeping up, for at least the quarter mile.

Generally, my criteria for whether a movie is good or not depends on how intense the car chases are, what the gunplay is like, and how hot the hotties are. My tastes, I guess, do not lean towards the sophisticated. In spite of meeting most of the criteria, though, I still give this one a four out of ten on the redneck scale... pretty typical Arnold movie. Storyline not that great, lots of eye-rolling "What the...?" stuff, some holes, some "too much of a stretch even for an action movie" stuff. Good explosions, some speed (although the 'vette's downshift (or upshift?) 5000 times to create more speed 5000 times got a little old. It might have been equipped with the 5000 speed tranny...

i saw a story on that movie on tv and they showed a scene where the Camaro is on the hood of the Corvette, driving through a cornfield. i wonder how they got a Corvette to support that kind of weight on the hood.

That's not keeping up. 0.5 sec is huge in the 1/4 mile.
