G-Force 454 LS7 Camaro Dyno Results!
Finally got time to dyno our 2010 Camaro.
HKE 454cid C5-R Block 11.4 compression 238/251 115 LSA Cam WCCH LS7 Heads Ported LS7 Intake Stock 90mm TB Kooks 2" Headers and 3" Exhaust Roto Fab CAI These numbers are with the stock balancer. Im still getting quite a bit of restriction as the MAP pressure is still dropping to 95 above 5800 rpms. Up next 25% UD pulley, FAST LSXr 102mm Intake and NW 102mm TB. |

every camaro deserves a 454!!
just curious, though... how did you squeeze that kind of displacement out of a small block? i noticed you used a C5-R block, but what makes it different?

We used a 4.250" Stroke Callies Crank and 4.135" bore Weisco Pistons to get that much displacement out of this small block. The C5-R has longer liners and much better main caps than a LS7 block. And its a hell of a lot lighter than a LSX block. Ive had the block for years. I was just waiting for the right car to use it on. Honestly the engine is truly 457 cubic inches but 454 sounds much better. |
