Yes, I read somewhere that with the RS package the fog lights will double as the daylight running lamp. I look for the article that had this in it.

NICE pictures. I feel like a kid again when my old man told me he saw santa a few miles a way from the house so I should get into bead before Santa sees the lights on and doesn't stop.

Dark metallic paints (like Red Jewel and IBM) need bright sun to make them stand out. They lose all their luster on overcast days.

OK - I'm starting to get the urge to override the social chairman at the house here and go back to the blue. What is the consensus of which blue is in the photos? If you look at the Aqua Blue on the HHR chart, it seems to go more green/teal and that's not necessarily a good thing. I'm in the mood for a rich, pure glow-in-the-daylight blue with white striping.

this is Aqua Blue Metallic. Imperial Blue is much darker. to see in person, go to a dealer and look at the HHR

Hey, HooliganZ, thank your dad for us. He did some serious manuvering, and speed and lane changing for you to get those shots. I mean, you got shots of the black one from all 4 sides! He must like cars too.

The fog lamps act as day time running lamps when the RS option is added. You will notice that the silver one is an SS and therefore the headlights are the day time runnning lamps. Not sure if you can turn them off or not.

If they are like the ones on my Sky and HHR you can turn them off, but you have to each time you start the car...

the black one is a SS/RS, so it has the red SS badge. if you see halos & a mail slot, it's a SS/RS
