Pumpkin seen some snow for the first time on the way back from Warriors Celebration on the high mountain pass. You could not have driven a pin up with a sledge hammer with the P Zero's on.

Brandi did one time when we went to Yellowstone... Same feeling... And when we got to the lodge by old faithful there were at least five other Camaros in the parking lot that I saw...

DSS to the rescue

One little thing we overlooked when switching to the HD Pro case was the extra ribbing on the Daytona support that will interfere with the mounting bracket.

DSS sent me the machined version to fix that problem in exchange for mine which they will re-machine. Could have fixed it with an angle grinder at the last minute had need be.

BDS is doing the swap as they put it together.

Saga Continues

BDS did the swap of the Daytona support and while they were torquing the pinion nut this happened.

Now it looks like a long drawn out process with Strange and US Gears for a refund on the gear set. BDS not a fan of US Gears put a set of Motive Performance gears in.

Pinion Update:

Got a call from Strange today, full refund issued for the gear set. Serious metal issues with the ring and pinion. Would have been bad news if I had of run them.

Got the last piece to the puzzle about a week ago from DSS which were the 35 spline stubs to fit the spool. Had Pumpkin up on the hoist today to check the dimensions. Looks like the Strange HD case set up is about .250 longer then the Strange iron case set up. Tomorrow is the 457 with a spool install day. It's going to close on the driveshaft length. Plan B will be machine off a bit off the front adapter to make it all fit. Which is doable, will mean a trip to JRM machine shop to be milled.

457 spool is in Pumpkin, but not without drama to get it done.
