My Flowmaster American Thunder Review

Hey y'all,
I just had my Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust installed a couple of days ago, Like others, I did a LOT of research and watching You Tube Videos. I wanted to get something to make Ol' Blue sound "better", more aggressive but not annoying. I was hooked on the Flowmaster from the first time I heard it. Exactly what I was looking for.

SO I had them installed and the first time I cranked her up, it was like cranking a completely different car! Man, blew me away!!After she settled into a idle, she purred instead of roared. I pulled out of the parking lot and gave her some gas and she roared with a deep growl, much deeper than I'd heard on you tube.

I took the LONG way home (needless to say) and grinned all the way. There is quite a bit of roar in the cabin when accelerating, but when cruising, she "purrs' is the only way I can describe it. Romp down on the accelerator and she sounded like a Ferrari!

Anyway, I gotta say I'm REALLY HAPPY with the Flowmasters, It's not 'obnoxious' sounding or annoying and you can 'feel' the rumble as you're riding. I HIGHLY recommend these as a relatively inexpensive add-on that can give your baby 'character' that the stock set-up just doesn't provide.

THANKS Flowmaster for a GREAT PRODUCT! Permagrin is BACK!!

I will try this weekend, but like other videos I don't believe it'll capture that deep 'growl' I was talking about...

Axle back. Axle back is the only one available for the 3.6

Thanks for the post. I am getting mine hooked up in a few weeks and they told me the same thing that the axelbacks are the only one available. I can't wait after your post says they sound good.
