Removed the dash again, this time I made sure I plugged in the night sensor (Good GOD is that stupid little connector a bitch to thread to the right spot), and I aligned the clockspring correctly... Stabilitrak Service code is gone! Thanks again.

So I'm installing HUD into my camaro and ran into a problem. When your trying to take out the steering wheel. I push in the spring on the left side and it pops off. But when I try to push in the spring on the right side the thing doesn't want to come off. Any suggestion

If u are talking about the airbag/horn thevu may need to push the spring a little further. There is a fair amount of travel.

Thanks that was a great help and it worked. I had one problem though. How do you get the yellow and blue wires to attach to the back of the air bag/ horn

With the airbag facing down, pull up gently on the back of each connector. There is a lock on each, the back of each will pull up. You will know when u do it right as it will click. Then you can pull each plug off.

Ok, I fnially got around to doing this after having Ofers color HUD kit laying around for over a year. It went well, but there was a couple of screws that weren't mentioned in the instructions. One under the defroster vent, which IS shown in that shop manual exploded view at the begining of this thread, but NOT mentioned in the text. The other one is behind the dash in between the HUD control switch and the radio and it is a bitch to get to. It's easier to put back in because you can see it through the HUD switch opening.I think it would be easier to remove that plastic knee cushion that's behind the dash, along with the dash. I think there is only one bolt holding it in and the hood release would have to be removed. That's the way the junkyard that I bought the 2014 dash from, removed it.

Some 14-15 1LE don't have all the wires so you need to find if there there and hot, call if you want our help.
