Thumbs up #7157 Left Oshawa Yesterday!! She's on the way!

I called the 800 number 5 minutes ago.

Rep was so nice to me.

First told me that my car had NO recalls. Then she needed my Order number - then was on hold for about 7 minutes ( I was thinking to myself, this cant be good)

Rep got back on and said I have GREAT NEWS RON - Your car was dispatched yesterday from Oshawa, CA. So I asked her again...to repeat herself - I said the car left Canada - She said YES! then she said enjoy your new Camaro.

Woohoo!!!

Need advice. First, I hope your car is on the way Rallyman6! But I have read on other threads that the 800 number is a waste of time, that the Dealers are the only ones that have the info. So what is the truth, or does it lie somewhere inbetween????

800 number works well if you have a VIN and an Order number

See... and you wanted to change it to white.

IOM is better IMO.

I'm guessing it is the 1-800-950-CHEV number. That is for new vehicles, the 1-800-222-1020 is customer assistance.

Oh thanks! I don't have a VIN yet, just an order number. I've been standin' on the corner waiting for mine to arrive since ordering in October! Oh well, good things come to those that wait.....

Congrats on your car!!! You may want to double check with your dealership though. If it is on the way, please make pictures!!!

I feel your pain. I'm in my third week of being bayed, with no word what so ever.

I am still at 3800 on gm workbench as of 5 min before the call to CS.
So all you guys at 3800 with R6P give the 800 number a try.
Do not trust GM Workbench. The rep called the shipping dept directly for me
