You did the right thing by ordering a 1LE. Your order will probably catch up to your old one some since production hasn't started yet. That's my guess.

we'll see. the dealer kept my initial order to sell. So the 2 cars may arrive together. that would actually be pretty neat.

How long do they keep them in 3000 status before they get produced. I was under the impression that production wouldn't start until beginning of July. Also can my dealer give me an order number without having allocation for the car yet? If so does it really matter if I wait until closer to production before they put it in or should I get on there *** about giving me an order number?

- It might not matter I guess. If they don't have an allocation to put to it. Question is are they not putting it in and holding that allocation for some other order? Is that why they are not placing it? Just talking out loud

mohave i went to 3000 too.... now hopefully tomorrow we see a tpw schedule for the first week of production wich will be july 15th... employees will be excited after a two week vacation for model change we will be getting the best they can offer right??? gosh i hope im right.. im right aint i?

Woot ! 3k all around ! I am not holding my breathe for TPW quite yet but that would be fun if it happens so fast.

I think you are right on the team being excited to make the new car. It is new and since direct customer names are attached to them that makes it special too.
