I agree, I was just going over it so they knew what it is and the purpose of it. Personally I do it like you and stage as shallow as possible no matter what racing I'm doing.

If I would have thought about it I would have taken some pictures yesterday while I was at the track.

Made some more changes, thanks for everyone's suggestions.

Would you guys prefer if I kept to the paragraph narrative style, or would you like to see more of the content in bullet form?

Grabbed some of Tim E's pics, would love a Tech Inspection pic and a better staging lanes pic for sure.

Hmm should we re-title the thread, or should I re-title the picture?

I think the thread would benefit with two posts covering:

INDEX RACING
BRACKET RACING

I will add this to the 3rd post and organize it that way.

Love how this is coming together!

I noticed that you used a pic from Mission Racway Park in your thread. That's my home track, but that's not the return road it is the road for tow vehicles to to get to the top end.

Changed/ added a bunch of pics, a lot of those work great Tim. I don't want to use the NMCA pic of tech line while I'm friends with those guys it would be better to use our own. The first pic for example I shot of the Livernois car.

I'm happy to add more pics and videos that illustrate making a pass.

Merc, good to know, I actually would love a pic of a Camaro making it's way down the return road.

I am not sure I wrote anything particularly useful about launch control in the first post, I'm not sure how it works, so if anyone thinks it needs more work please share your description of it and why you do or don't like it.

Great thread, guys. This is really valuable for guys that might be a little apprehensive of trying the drags.

sorry i took so long to post some pics- searched thru dozens of events to get some decent ones.

wont hurt my feeling if none are needed (seen you had updated just prior while I was searching/posting mine)

let me know if anything else specifically is needed.

Tim
I like the tall skinny front tires for a little advantage.. What size tire and rim yah running ??? Plus it looks great !!!

Might have been covered already....when staging...after you creep up and get your first light on...then go ever so slowly and flicker that second stage light...it will buy you some reaction time and less red lights.
