The best shifter I have ever had was in my 2004 cobra .. I bought an MGW shifter .. it was great .. I am also partial to the BALL type shift knobs .. had one on my 2001 SS and loved it ..

I had a t-handle in my sandrail, but never cared for it. I now have a 2" ball shift handle and it feels more natural to me. You just have to try them out to find what feels more natural to you.

I am going with a pistol grip shifter, like what is in the challenger.

Had this in my GTO, want the same if I get a Camaro. The chrome stick and black knob looked amazing in the car. Shame it shifted like shit and I had to go back to stock.

Had a T-handle in my 69 before I switched it to an AT. As far as feel, that is entirely up to the driver imo. If you start out with a ball and go to a T, you will most likely find it akward, same goes vice-versa.

The ball also allows for a more relaxed shifting style on the upshifts... under normal driving conditions.

Hurst short throw. Depends on what types they offer from there. I like my leather wrapped in my current 02SS.

I'll stick with the standard shifter for a while and see how it works. If there's a shifter similar to the concept released I'll check out how it feels.
