Just upgraded! 2010 2SS/RS

So now I need to know why to do...

I had a 2013 LS and had the Rockford Fosgate P300 hooked up and loved the sound.

I just tapped the rear speaker wires on LS system.

Now I have BA system and not sure this will hook up with it?

What have others done? Heard disconnecting center speaker is best first step. Why is that? How do you do it? Excuse the audio noob questions.

Also, heard should replace the BA amp and rear speakers also?

I want to reuse the RF-300 if possible. Not looking for competition set up, just something nice and solid.

Any input is appreciated and links to items or directions on the above also appreciated.
