Good evening from Afghanistan--I am deployed and about to return to the USA on 12 Oct 12--as part of my welcome home/promotion/soon-to-be retired gift to myself and my fiance--we are looking for either a 1968 Camaro (year we were born) or a "new" 5th Generation Camaro--LOVE white--browse daily--found this 2011 Indy Pace Car edition at a BMW dealer in NY: http://www.lifequalitybmw.com/used/C...982e439bf0.htm# 10,500 miles--manual--aftermarket rims--clean--asking $35,995--Edmunds says dealer retail is $35,514 and Edmunds doesn't allow to add that it is a IPC edition--seems like a good if not great deal--especially because only 500 of these were made total and only 157 manual transmission--would love any thoughts you all might have--thank you!

Price looks good enough but I would want the original rims. Those black rims look terrible on that car.

That is a cheap price. My 6-speed IPC is for sale, but I won't take less than $42k. It has only 1,500 miles. 500 of which were the ride home from the dealer. I don't like those black wheels either.

I would jump on it at that price. There is still room to buy a set of Take Off Polished OEM Wheels. They are the same as any other Camaro, so not hard to find at all.

Only because I have a ZL1 Vert on order and I can't keep both. Not enough room or money. I hate to sell it. I love pace cars. I've owned a '69 and an '82 also. Right now, I have the '11 and a '78 pace car which I'm restoring.

Make sure to check on that ragtop, the 2011's are notorious for problems with the 5th bow and even water bag management system to drain the water and keep it out of the car interior. You may ask the dlr to run the VIN and check on any warranty work done and current TSBs.

Happened at dealership not far from my house and car was abandoned even closer to where I live.
